GUESS WHO JUST FINISHED SEWING!? 8DDD
Gifts? Check. (Haha, finally!)

I... forgot to take pictures to share before I wrapped everything up (oops), but I might be able to take photos of the ones I'm going to give to my mother later. I've dubbed her gift as 'the wellness pack' -- I made some really good-looking if I do say so myself :P packs that can be either chilled or warmed (big, small, and one that'll lay over the eyes), added a nice set of assorted chocolates ('Cause she loves chocolate!), and somehow also managed to stuff in two nice-smelling hand lotions with all of the other things into one basket. I-I'm not exactly sure how this amounts to a wellness pack, but oh well.
The other things I sewed were for my best friend, who also likes to get crafty. I made her a fancy pincushion (which was actually my favourite thing to make) and sewing utensil holder in addition to giving her a set of pleasant-smelling things.

All in all, it was definitely a learning experience! Next time I do this, I'll be sure to give myself a bit more time, especially because I hand-sew everything.

Enough of all that blather, though.
What is the favourite Christmas gift you've ever gotten? What was the strangest one?

Favorites were Final Fantasy XII, Majora's Mask, Sonic and Knuckles, and a Cats Against War t-shirt. Some lego sets but I don't remember which ones.

Weirdest, um, I don't know. I'm so not in the spirit. I've been listening to a song called Sunangel Summer a lot.


Also, any idea why Livejournal needs to go dark and force me to close the window and reload the page occasionally?

Oh, well, that only happens to me when a BestBuy ad comes up with Christmas gift suggestions. It darkens the page (as you said) and then a video pops up with the ad. You can close the ad window after about four seconds, I think. Very annoying, but hey, after Christmas it should be gone...

That's good. I don't get the ad window though, I have to close the screen and load it again... I think I do, anyway, I kind of get impatient with it.

I've never had that on my journal page, but sometimes profiles will do it.
