It's not even my birthday yet but between all of the goings-on of late, I'm already ridiculously pleased.
I don't much care for shindigs, so I'd be totally cool with it passing by right now anyway. ♥

Things that are making me really happy right now include:
-excellent music stuck on repeat that makes me want to dance and never stop
-sexy new gray pencil skirt and purple flats that I just bought myself
-this beautiful contemporary dance that breaks my heart a little bit more every time I see it (You give me sexy men and angst and my favourite choreographer plus one of my favourite musical artists and ask me not to ship it all so hard? I'll call you crazy.)
-a new round of the kink meme that's taken over my life
-bumping into old and new friends alike
-going to the movies and laughing so hard I can't breathe
-being in the mood to write, finally
-et cetera, et cetera, et cetera... ;)

DEVOOOOOOOOTCHKAAAAAAAA!!!<3 hahah I giggled a little when he stepped on his neck =D

Also, zomg I still need to invest in a pencil skirt =[ I love them soo much! (And they make my bum look nice? LOL) But I never have opportunities to wear stuff like that! I did get a nice grey dress at some point, which I've gotten away with wearing around campus because there are so many random people walking around in full business attire that I can pretend that I have a meeting or something. (Wait, so business majors can walk around in that stuff, and bio/chem majors can't walk around in labcoats? BULLOCKS!)

I KNOW RIGHT??? I WAS TRYING TO RESIST SQUEEING AT THE PREVIEW PART BUT WHEN THAT SONG CAME ON I JUST TOTALLY LOST IT. Luckily I was alone so there was no one to stare at me and I could hyperventilate in peace.

THIS WAS THE FIRST EVER ONE THAT LOOKED GOOD ON ME. I don't know what it usually is about them, but most don't fit quite right. :/
So when this one did, I was like, "okay, I'm all over this. Early b-day present to self!"

Walk around with a bubbling beaker full of dangerous-looking chemicals while wearing goggles on and I'm sure that no one will have the guts to bother you about it, dear. ;DDD
(Lol I'm shameless. When I was at U of I for science olympiad, I walked around from place to place in my enormous tacky lab apron. [/supernerd much?])

Sometimes the price is worth it though. I've tried on cheaper skirts before (this one actually wasn't bad, it was under forty), but the fit is always a bit wonky.

Yes, that too! But actually I think one of the scariest things might be going out with a face splash guard on spattered with some sort of viscuous red substance! :P

Haha, definitely know what you mean! No worries, I've still got a year left, during which you'll probably see me doing something silly on campus. XDDD

Yeah, I have a pair of black ones too, but they're so old and worn nicely that I don't even need those flat socks anymore!

Same here, I can't bear to throw out a good pair of tennis shoes until the front has literally peeled away. :P
If I turned into a robot, I'd ditch the flats for some hovercraft shoes. Glow in the dark ones with jet pack add-ons.
