It's not even my birthday yet but between all of the goings-on of late, I'm already ridiculously pleased.
I don't much care for shindigs, so I'd be totally cool with it passing by right now anyway. ♥

Things that are making me really happy right now include:
-excellent music stuck on repeat that makes me want to dance and never stop
-sexy new gray pencil skirt and purple flats that I just bought myself
-this beautiful contemporary dance that breaks my heart a little bit more every time I see it (You give me sexy men and angst and my favourite choreographer plus one of my favourite musical artists and ask me not to ship it all so hard? I'll call you crazy.)
-a new round of the kink meme ~~that's taken over my life~~
-bumping into old and new friends alike
-going to the movies and laughing so hard I can't breathe
-being in the mood to write, finally
-et cetera, et cetera, et cetera... ;)

Post Script (1) -- ...Fanmixes can be hard to make. I'm having so much trouble deciding between songs that I'm not sure if I'll ever finish. How did I do this so quickly for school!? (Well, maybe because I didn't have such snazzy options then, but still...)

Post Script (2) -- TENNIS SEASON STARTS SOON. ~~And it'll be even better now that I have sunglasses that actually do their job.~~ <3
I'm excited to see how much I'll improve over the course of the season. I've come a really long way in the two years since I've started. (I still can't believe it, I guess. Considering the fact that I couldn't even keep the ball in the court when I first started, making varsity last year (and getting my serves smokin' this year) was wonderful. I guess it pays not to give up, although I still have a long ways to go before I hit amazing! XD)

Post Script (3) -- ACK. I SHOULD ~~GET STARTED ON~~ WRITE MORE OF THAT PROMISING-TO-BE-ENORMOUS MERLIN FIC I'M SUPPOSED TO HAVE DONE IN A FEW WEEKS.

Haha, bought myself a birthday present. Although it didn't quite work out how I wanted it.
I was going to get two books at Barnes and Noble (free shipping for stuff over twenty-five dollars) because it would be cheaper than getting them at Borders (since the books were cheaper I was like a dollar short of free shipping or something). But it turns out I didn't have enough in my gift cards anyway. (Damn it! xDDD)
So I just got one of the two at Borders, since individually it's cheaper there, lol. And besides, now the people who've got no idea of what I might want have a book left to buy, even though I don't mind not getting presents. I'm not a whoabig-into-birthdays sort of person.

Oh, the ordeals I go through for a likeable present. LMAO.
