oh_darling | day two / part one

DAY TWO
-University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA)
-Princeton University (Princeton, NJ)

Driving to the University of Pennsylvania was much better than driving down to where we stayed overnight. It was a relatively uneventful drive. (Sorry, I forgot my camera again!) We were in quite a bit of a rush when we made it downtown, as our directions were a bit shifty and there were a whole bunch of detours that threw us off-course. We wound up kind of lost somewhere in the vicinity of the campus hospital, where a kind man directed us back to admissions.
After more winding around (still pretty lost), we somehow found ourselves near the undergraduate admissions building. Unfortunately, there wasn't any parking, so we dashed in quickly, peered around for a few minutes and got a handful of pamphlets, and dashed back out. The buildings we went into were very pleasant, with a nice historic feel.
However, I found a good portion of the rest of campus too jam-packed, cramped, and urban for my tastes. It was also extremely difficult to navigate through, which is a definitely minus for someone who can't even remember her own cell phone number. Have some pictures! :D

PHILADELPHIA

I was rather disappointed that instead of seeing this sort of thing around the campus, we were faced with buildings jostling one another and kind of just being gloomy in general. It might just have been the detours, but atface value, I wouldn't enjoy this particular campus as much as others.
