It hasn't been that long since the new Star Trek movie came out, but there's already quite a fanbase for it, and the fanworks are piling up. I wasn't very into Star Trek beforehand, but I certainly did appreciate the visuals, character development, and stylistic direction of the movie. I rather enjoyed it. And I won't go shouting it around, but I will admit that my inner fangirl is quite pleased with the number of fanfics of a certain pairing even if I do prefer them reversed.
