After a frustrating week of match cancellations due to rainy weather), we finally got to play today. We won the meet, although my partner and I didn't win our match. It was close, and it left me sighing because I thought that we could have beaten the other pair if we had pushed a little harder. Alas. <3[Poll #1451606]Love,
sorry for another poll

I meant to say "um, what?"

Also, I asked this in my journal but I don't know if you saw it, but: What's your stance on listening to or reading or viewing works by people who's views you find repulsive?

Haha, these polls are giving you some trouble! XD

It would depend on the actual subject matter at hand, but for the sake of getting the full story and maintaining partial neutrality as best as possible, I wouldn't mind reading a thing or two. If it is too incompatible though (for instance, if it completely dissmisses every fiber of morality I have), I will stop reading it.

It depends on quality. Catherynne Valente said something about the minimum amount of quality she needs to read something by someone with repulsive opinions.

That person being dead vs. that person being alive and making money factors into it.
Which is why I say that if you're going to read Hyperion, borrow it from a friend or a library or get it used.
