Final exams are quickly approaching!
I'm (more than) a little miffed that the school has changed its policy about not attending a slot if you've already taken the final. Now instead of snoozing through Monday, I have to get up, go to school, and sit around. All day long. Damn it.

I think I'm pretty much set for every class except math. That's the only class where I'm borderline for a B, so I have a bunch of extra credit that I'll be hunched over doing throughout the week and over the weekend. If all goes well, I'll yank another A out of this teacher -- last semester was cutting it close! (And unfortunately I'll have her again next year too... *groan*)

Speaking of next year, I'll have no space in my schedule. I thought I didn't have space this year, but apparently I did. Next year I don't have lunch (This also means that I actually have to do homework at home, haha.), and I have to find a way to fit in tutoring people again as well. I'm not concerned with the level of difficulty in any of my subjects, merely just with time management. I almost wish there was another slot in the day so that I could get some breathing time to conk out and chow down (not necessarily in that order).

I didn't get a complete glance at my schedule yet, but here are the classes I'm taking:
(Everything is a grade weight five [except gym and, ironically, orchestra, which indicates the highest level of difficulty.)
AP Chemistry
Honours Physics
Great American Writers (writing-intensive class, I think you can guess the subject)
Math Analysis (despite the stupid name, I believe it's actually above Precalculus in difficulty)
German (third year honours)
AP US History
Gym
Symphonic Orchestra (This class is probably the most difficult, lol, considering that we perform things like the video below on our concerts. [This was in our first concert of the year too, albeit a tad slower. Darn you, conductor! Way to take it easy.])

Love,
*will miss you, lunchtime!*

Post Script -- I have no idea if I just embedded that correctly. :D

There's a 400 level math class called analysis, but I think the one you're taking is pretty much precalc.

Yeeeesh, sitting around doing nothing = not fun. I'm glad those days are behind me. (snork)

Any idea where Cornerorange disappeared to?

Essentially, with a load of other, irrelevant calculations and derivations and the like. Yuck.

*suspicious stare*
OH REAAAAAALLY.
As strange as it sounds, I personally would enjoy school more than so-called cubile jobs. At least I have some breathing space and my mind gets a tiny bit of variety. xD
What sort of job environment do you have?

I'm not certain, but I've been wondering. My guess would be that she is busy getting set up for the summer and juggling all of that stuff she's been mentioning lately. :P

I don't have a job. I blame the economy.

I enjoyed college a lot.

THIS TOO WILL BE MY EXCUSE.
Ah, supposing that this slump lasts until I'm through with college. >___>

What did you major in? :D

Physics and math.

But for some reason, I'm friends with more English majors.

...Too much logic needs a break every once in a while? I dunno. My friends fall across the whole spectrum. xD

Mine do too, except I don't know any business majors.

Also, great thing about college: you can walk out once you're done with the exam.

THIS. WHERE WAS THIS WHEN I FINISHED MY AP EXAM IN 20-SOMETHING MINUTES!?
I am insanely jealous. .__.

I wish they had that in high school.

And more time to eat lunch. And actual food.

Actual food would be amazing. The day I see something instantly recognizable and remotely edible in a school cafeteria is a good day indeed.

Middle school was horrid.

They did have good chili, though.

Wow, that was over ten years ago.

Haha, it seems that school food has gotten successively better over the years. Still, the best stuff is homecooked in my opinion. <3

They work on the assumption that little kids don't know the difference between good food and bad food.

High school wasn't very impressive, though.

This... this is plausible.
I just stick to bringing my own lunch. Saves time and the potential worry of food poisoning. :'D

Makes sense. I usually made something when I got home.

Unfortunately being undifferentiated in the respects of cuisine consumption didn't prevent us from seeing the grease pooling on the pizza. Oh, middle school. </3

I think someone bounced a sausage.

By the way, do you remember where in your jornal I put the list of all the burning questions? There are a few more I should add to it, whenever you feel like making an entry about it.

T-That is disturbing on so many levels.

Here. (http://bloodred0-4.livejournal.com/34264.html) I got about halfway through a while ago and then somehow got distracted. Adding more to it will be a good reminder. :D

*sigh*
Indeed, there's a great deal of emphasis placed on math. I see the importance of it too, but that doesn't mean I enjoy it. At all.
Well, at least now I know that I won't want to work in something that's soley mathematical.
here is the deepest secret nobody knows...
