question(s) + chicken abuse

What's your favourite?
How about a cheesy one?
A sexy one?
A fun one?
Today my best friend and I made a feast of German food!
We've been planning it all year during class, haha! We made hühnerschnitzel (flattened breaded chicken cutlet), bratwursts [and some smoked sausage], spätzle (doughy noodles), potatoes (diced, spiced, and baked baby), apple "cake" {it was so good I had to have an extra helping :P}, and fruit salad. Not in that order, though.
It was lots and lots of fun, although I had a mountain of dishes to wash and my feet were killing me by the end. (I can't cook whilst sitting down, you see.) Everything turned out really well, which is great considering that this whole thing was something akin to a mad scientist's experiment. We're both dessert people, so cooking 'normal' food all of a sudden was a challenge!
I think the funniest part was when we had to flatten the pieces of chicken. She used a rolling pin and got started a few minutes earlier than I did (I was preparing the chicken), but I still beat her to it shortly after starting on my piece... using my fists. She was like, "Whoa, I wouldn't want to get in a fight with you!"
It cracked me up. <333
Afterwards we hung out and played a bunch of silly games. TWISTER right after dinner probably wasn't the brightest idea, lol. But it certainly was hilarious!
Love,
